Adopted by Carla and Craig Rickert from a South Dakota rescue, Mochi’s extraordinary feature became a symbol of resilience, love, and the joy that rescued animals bring to their new families. Carla expressed their hope that the record would shed light on the positive impact of adopting animals in need. Sadly, Mochi passed away in 2021, but his story continues to resonate with and inspire others. 2. The kitten had faced a harrowing incident, having been thrown out of a moving car on the Verrazano Bridge. Bethanee’s story took an extraordinary turn when, after being taken to a shelter, she flatlined during a spaying procedure but miraculously came back to life. Further examinations revealed a cancerous mass in her leg, leading to the decision to amputate. Bethanee not only survived the challenging surgery but thrived through it all. Her inspiring tale caught the attention of Lindsay, a graphic designer, who adopted Bethanee and took her everywhere. Lindsay started an Instagram account to document Bethanee’s recovery, and soon, the resilient French bulldog became a sensation, featured on HuffPost, Good Morning America, and Men’s Health. 8. Graham Back in 2014, Ed Sheeran melted hearts when he introduced the world to his lovable kitten, Graham, on Twitter. Sharing the heartwarming story, Sheeran revealed that Graham, a one-month-old kitten, was on the verge of being put down, prompting the singer to step in and adopt him.
