electric vehicles – How many miles per year is too few to make an EV more sustainable than a small petrol car – GWC Mag

I need a car for occasional short journeys. My yearly millage will probably be less than 2000 miles. Is it worth getting an EV or will a small petrol be more environmental.

I’ll be buying used, probably either a vw polo or a Renault Zoe.

If I only drive < 2000 miles, is that enough to keep the battery of the Zoe healthy?
