aerogels for home insulation in Canada – GWC Mag

I am renovating an old brick house and have stripped it down to the brick and studs. I am looking for a highly efficient and safe insulation product that will fit in the 4 inch deep wall cavities so I don’t lose room space. Will an aerogel product like spaceloft work in this application? Are there aerogel home insulation products available in Canada? How does this product compare to other home insulation materials? Is it safe for home use? Is it cost effective? Thanks in advance for any help!
