Ammonia-to-hydrogen cracker demonstrator plant begins operation in the UK – GWC Mag

AFC Energy has unveiled its modular ammonia-to-hydrogen cracker system at its demonstration plant in the UK.

The cracker system will be supplied with ammonia procured by OCI Global, via its Rotterdam terminal, and is expected to deliver 140 tonnes of fuel cell grade hydrogen per year.

The hydrogen produced at the plan is targeted for sale into AFC Energy’s UK H-Power Generator deployments, including Speedy Hydrogen Solutions and third-party customers.
