To achieve the goal of moving towards a more sustainable future, Vermont businesses are calling for our legislators to make significant progress in bringing new renewables online, establish state funds to support business recovery from climate disasters, and to hold the fossil fuel companies accountable for the destruction of our natural environment.

Join us in Montpelier: Bring the Voice of Business to the Climate Conversation.

VBSR, Seventh Generation, SunCommon, and VPIRG have partnered to deliver a powerful message to Vermont legislators in support of bold climate action. Join us for a day of lobbying, learning, and connection in Montpelier on Thursday, February 1st.

Climate change affects not just our planet, but its people – including disproportionate effects on low-income, global-majority, and other marginalized communities – as well as our individual and collective economic prosperity. The future of our climate is the future of our economy.

If you want to make a difference, bringing your voice to the State House is one of the most impactful things you can do.

Teams of business leaders will kick off the day with an issue briefing and advocacy training, followed by a press conference and meetings with legislators in the State House. We will end the day with a professional development training and a networking celebration open to all!
