2. Rescued Puppy Has Ongoing Head Tilt from Abuse

A four-month-old puppy was rescued by animal law enforcement in Pennsylvania after a report was made on the dog’s condition. The rescued puppy, named Duke, was observed to be experiencing difficulty walking and had a twisted neck. A search warrant was obtained and the property was searched on September 15. The young puppy was found with a medical choke chain and experiencing ongoing effects after allegedly being kicked by a child in the home. Duke had not received medical help after the incident.

3. Amazing Story! Blind Cat Adopted, Gets Second Chance at Life

When Flow arrived at the McKamey Animal Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee shelter staff were unsure if the blind cat would live through the night. It is believed that Flow was hit by a car, which left her with severe facial trauma. Vets had to remove the cat’s eyes, which had ruptured and were causing her intense pain, and reconstruct her broken jaw. Although Flow quickly recovered from these procedures, she was left blind. However, the cat did not let this stop her from becoming a favorite at the shelter. Staff said that the blind cat was very vocal and loved to be petted or brushed.
