Deprivation and learning disabilities linked to increased risk of dying from sepsis, study finds – GWC Mag

People from the most socioeconomically deprived groups in England are almost twice as likely to die from sepsis within 30 days of infection than those from the least deprived groups (crude odds ratio 1.80, 95% confidence interval 1.77 to 1.83), according to research.1
