The video showed his sneaky method for avoiding going outside at night and has captured viewers’ hearts. Sonny the rescue pup was content on his human’s bed and did not want to get up to go outside to use the bathroom. So, he devised a clever strategy to avoid moving.

Sonny pretends to be asleep, hoping to fool his people. However, the hilarious dog gives himself away when he shoots them a side-eyed glance to see if they are buying it. Fortunately, his humans found the behavior so amusing that they let him fool them. “Yes, we let him sleep” reads the funny video’s caption. Viewers cracked up at Sonny’s antics.
