Intermountain Healthcare Opens Ambulatory Surgery Center In Murray, Utah – GWC Mag

Intermountain Healthcare (Salt Lake City) opened an ambulatory surgery center and recovery hotel in Murray, Utah.

The 50,000-square-foot project, which is designed to U.S. Green Building Council LEED Silver certification, houses eight orthopedic operating rooms (ORs) and a 16-room recovery hotel for postoperative care.

E4H Environments for Health Architecture (Salt Lake City) provided planning, architecture, and interior design services on the project. The project team also includes Big-D Companies (construction; Salt Lake City), VBFA (MEP; Salt Lake City), HGA (structural engineer; Salt Lake City), Great Basin (civil engineering; South Odgen, Utah); and Spectrum (lighting; Salt Lake City).
