Remembering Prof. Saleelmul Huq – Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research – GWC Mag

The Tyndall Centre is one with the climate community in mourning the passing of Prof. Saleelmul Huq. Prof. Huq was a great force in the climate movement  and was a friend of the Tyndall Centre and our international work since our beginnings.

An obituary on Prof. Huq’s work and legacy was published by the Washington Post and The Guardian.

His last piece of writing, “In 2023 we’ve seen climate destruction in real time, yet rich countries are poised to do little at Cop28” was published today on The Guardian.
