Established in 2010, SCCS-Bengaluru’s core objective is to foster interactions among India’s budding conservation science community, promoting a rich exchange of research insights, technical know-how, and wildlife conservation experiences. The conference, over the years, has engaged around 4300 students, resonating its commitment towards nurturing young conservation careers.

This year, the conference will accentuate conservation endeavors by students and researchers from Asia and Africa, although it welcomes registrations globally. The wide array of topics ranges from tree identification and participatory research methods to conservation filmmaking and bioacoustics in conservation. These sessions are tailored not just to broaden the understanding and skills of the attendees but also to catalyze networking opportunities with national and international institutions and organizations immersed in conservation and associated research.
