From Washington to Warsaw, a ‘greenlash’ is picking up steam. In recent months, state laws restricting the use of environmental, social, and governance factors have swept across the U.S.

In Europe, signs of a green political backlash have also started surfacing as businesses and citizens feel the costs of the energy transition.

These technologies also create pushback from local residents because these installations spoil the landscape and disrupt local communities. Rural residents are also dissatisfied with the flicker from turbine rotation and complain about noise.
